Another backstage pass vote was released just recently, and true to form, the general audience was split down the middle. The official Forza Horizon Twitter account held a rather simple poll: “Two trucks and two city heroes. The choice is yours! Which one will you choose?” Well, these competitors have no shortage of opinions.

The options: Toyota Hilux AT38 (the indestructible beast so harshly treated by Forza Horizon 5) or Ford Ranger Raptor, and Renault Clio R.S or the Ford Fiesta ST. And the gamers? Oh, they’re letting out their screams on the internet. Those wishing for the Hilux are practically begging for it to be a 20million-credit rare in the auction house; while Fiesta lovers want to go ahead and have their greatest experience-even if it is just a Fiesta.

Not being existent in this poll might be an issue of access. Users like Sol Madden are schoolin’ the newbies in the replies: “Pick the Toyota and the Renault!! The ranger and fiesta are way easier to get!!” In contrast, others are pissed that some of these cars were already in Horizon 4 and, quite frankly, ought to be in the autoshow already. I mean, why make us vote for stuff we have already driven?

Responding to this will obviously be players whose chaotic energy will overshadow the whole voting process. One requests displaying a 1967 Chevrolet Impala; another seeks for a GMC Sierra 3500; then one of those clarks pipes up, “FORZA HORIZON 6 PLEASEEEEE,” as if there was a chance.

Now, the drama? That would be found inside the backstage pass system. Some of the drama, that is, two checks on the voting mechanic. ChipperDale74 just said, “How about opening up every car and we get to use the backstage passes on whatever we want instead of this shitty voting system?” And honestly? Mood.

Wildcard alert: Wobbulus asks the important question, “What’s in the back of the Hilux? There should be a .50 machine gun.” Because if you’re driving a truck that survived a Top Gear abuse session, why not put a gun on it?

This vote? Another chapter in the never-ending saga of some very passionate-for to occasion-those too passionate-Forza Horizon players standing up for their pixel cars. Love it or hate it, whether you’re Team Hilux or Team Fiesta, one thing is for sure: the community feels about it. And if history plays any role in this, chances are, the very few stirring the most trouble in the auction house will end victorious.

Place your bets, then. Will Hilux walk all over the others? Or will Fiesta ST pull off the upset? Either way, the replies will be worth their salt worthy of a chef’s kiss.
