Fortnite Competitive recently dropped a tweet packed with hilarity while basically throwing ridiculous questions at its Pro-Am players. And the responses were pure mayhem: a whole discussion on cereals, cries for FNCS pickaxes and whatnot-the Fortnite community is so strange.
The original tweet had a clip of players being asked these odd questions about whether milk is poured before cereal or the other way round. And answering them… well… interesting is probably an understatement. One player admitted to pouring warm milk first, and frankly, that should be punishable by law. The other one said that it’s the same dilemma as with coffee: some have coffee with milk; others have milk with coffee. Deep stuff.
Maybe, then, it was the Pro-Am banter that stirred up the party and flung wide open the floodgates of demands, bugs, and plainly perplexing questions.
First, the FNCS pickaxe drama. A handful of players were pleading for the FNCS pickaxes to be saved at the shop, with one almost crossing the pick to ask for $20 for a code. One counter good voice screamed, “I AM NOT PAYING $120 TOO PLAY FORTNITE.” That’ll do for an apt mood statement.”
Then there were the tech chats. One was complaining about getting kicked right at the start of tourney matches, claiming that had been happening all season long. Another attempt to redeem a code at Xbox turned out horrendous, because it was PC only. Oof.
And now for the strays. One guy calls Cold “generic,” another calls Peterbot the obvious winner (well, surprise); then some started shouting about cereal. Classic Fortnite Twitter.
Oh, but the real highlight? The utter desperation! One who had been traveling from Switzerland to England was literally begging for a DM of an FNCS axe code. Another one blatantly asked, “Can I get a free FNCS pickaxe?” No shame.
Then came some Opinions That Argue, issued by some serious players: One said Fortnite esports needs more prize money, divisions, and competitors. Another joked about the reload mode bots but then got back “Man you must be ass bro.” Savage.
Remember the wholesome moments? Lachlan got some love for the meet-and-greet, and Nate Hill got called “based af” for… I guess… just existing.
So what do we learn? Fortnite Pro-Am guys have opinions on cereal, and fans will go farther and wider for an FNCS pickaxe. Steelers versus Ducks: Twitter still remains the craziest circus in the whole world. Yet another topic for another day would be about rumors of locked game modes and Battle Royale leaks.
Now we will sit back, pour our milk after the cereal, you know, as civilized people would, and wait for the next wave of a Fortnite circus.
