Okay Fortnite players, hold on; this Item Shop leak has just come out with some choice picks. What is in the spotlight? Iron Man is back-the second time. So, Epic seems to have really depended upon this reusage, haven’t they? But if you missed him the first time around, here he is again. Alongside Tony Stark in his armored suit, the Boardwalk Warriors would also be there; with Battle Ready expanding with eight items from six; a new Locker Bundle is out (always a treat); and the Get Your Kicks got cut from six to four.
Now, what about Iron Man? Some players have pretty much split opinions. One of them even went, “Is that the bad Iron Man skin or the good one?” I mean, fair enough. There has been a vehement debate about which version of the Marvel hero really looks better in game. On the other hand, some are just weary of seeing him pop up so much. “They choose to give Iron Man every fuckin month,” came the tweet from an annoyed player. Can’t really argue-Epic sure does seem to like that Avenger a lot.
We yet have the new Locker Bundle as a talking point. One player goes on a jokey note, “Only good thing will be the locker bundle and they will still fuck that up,” which is…ouch. Harsh still not unjustified considering Epic’s stain-and-shine rep with these things. Another reply wondered if it might be related to the Madison Beer rumored bundle, which would at least be a major flex if true.
Then…Battle Ready is probably expanding? Some players are hyped, calling the shop stacked, while others are like so nothing good again. And the classic Fortnite community split starts! We can’t forget those who are still waiting for skins: “Still no Ash Williams,” said one; referencing the Evil Dead legend who’s been MIA for far too long. Another one asked about Sarah Connor; hey, why not?
Marvel fans? They are feasting tonight. Some said, “Big W for Marvel fans,” and seriously, yeah. Even though Iron Man might be a little overused, that really is a big return for those who never got it. Then there was the cheeky addition of “Scarlet Witch (1x) about to hit different,” okay, not confirmed, but now we’ve all got hopes.
But real talk: Some players are just about emotes. One was absolutely desperate to know when the Silk Sonic one was landing, screenshot and all: “When are they coming cause I can’t wait.” So Much Mood. Then we have a dude screaming, “WHEN IS AXE OF CHAMPIONS 1.0?” in all caps. Sir, we don’t know either, but we share your pain.
You can put this shop on a spectrum. Certain folks are hyped; others just feel meh; fewer are praying for their skins to finally make a comeback. So, are you picking something up tonight, or is this a skip for you? Anyway, get those V-Bucks warm–Epic never stops.
