The Fast & the Furious franchise has been through so much. These movies showcase the car racing culture better than most. There have been numerous installments over the years, with each movie getting more insane than the next.

As it stands now, this series could go on forever. The blockbuster movie franchise has now crossed over into video games with Fast & Furious Crossroads, a multiplayer heist racing game developed by Slightly Mad Studios.

Trailers that have come out over the last couple of months paint an adrenaline-pumping experience, much like what has been featured in the movies. And now, it’s officially available to purchase on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

The game is set in the Fast and the Furious universe, with three garage owners on a quest for vengeance. They’re looking to take down an international crime syndicate and in order to do so, they’ll have to make some tough choices.

Dom, Letty, and Roman are featured in this blockbuster action, which is great because they’re likeness is spot on and so is their voice acting. What would a Fast and the Furious game be without them, quite honestly?

As far as gameplay, players will have all sorts of fun activities to look forward to. There are challenging heists that will put players in some precarious situations, where they have to think on the fly all while experiencing movie-quality action scenes.

There are also stunts that can be performed to make these scenes all the more memorable. If you ever wanted to see what it was like to be part of this crew and life-long car racing family, then Fast & Furious Crossroads is the game for you.

It hasn’t received a ton of attention leading up to its launch, but based on the non-stop action it’s showing to have, it looks like it can provide a lot of fun sequences. That is particularly true if you grew up watching these movies over the years.

Very rarely do you have a cast of characters that remain in a franchise for this long. You can feel the bond that they have come through in this video game. There are also online modes for those looking to get their multiplayer gaming on.

Will this be the perfect racing game you’ve ever played? Probably not. It seems geared more towards fans of the movies and those that like adrenaline-fueled moments with high stakes all the way through.
