With Destiny 2 enthusiasts all over, the collections of every Guardian have gotten cuter, from this very moment. The incredible thing ever to own for every Guardian-ever-wishing-have-wanted-pretty-much-to-cuddle-with-the-most-notorious-Hive-trickster is open for pre-orders: Savathûn Witch Queen plush, and boy, does it sound insane.
Numskull Designs went on to declare, “cunning with a splash of cute.” And I have to say that’s beautiful. Savathûn, the ultimate trickster, albeit a soft plush. And cuddly. Probably more trustworthy than in-game whispers. The plush went ahead to mimic her eerie basket-headpiece look, but in a way that won’t haunt your nightmares (hopefully).
The players gave one chef’s kiss reaction. Some were deliberating on inventive uses for her, with one joking that she might hold keys in that head basket (???). Another went ahead and dubbed her “Thicc Mommy,” which… okay, fair. The hype is real, with comments streaming in saying “OMG FINALLY!!” and “YOU GUYS DID IT SHE LOOKS AMAZING!!!”
The struggle is real: an overpriced $43 is set as the shipping for Colorado, which one planel had to grit his teeth at hearing. Of course, this opens the floodgates for more Destiny plushes. Players are already requesting for Osiris, Xivu Arath, Rhulk, and Saint-14. Based on how hyped up Numskull Designs are, it sounds quite possible: “hell yeah!! now that would be amazing!” So fingers crossed for a Hive BIG family reunion in plush form soon.
For the moment, however, it would be the mention of the Savathûn plush that could really steal the spotlight. Available for pre-order via the Numskull site, the plush will likely sell out in a flash, judging from the response. So whether you’re a hardcore Destiny fan or just someone who loves to see an evil-mogul-turned-plushie, maybe this is your chance to get an insane chunk of the game’s lore in cuddly form.
Well, at least this one won’t gaslight you.
