It’s the usual rants about Judy Alvarez from Cyberpunk 2077 players, and, well, ditto. On the vague side, CD Projekt’s official Cyberpunk account just dropped an oddly obscure message that read, “I’m here with you…,” in support of the content creator, @Spartans_VP. The tweet is already cryptic enough; the replies are anxious to the point of chaos. Players engaged in trash talk towards Judy, begging for DLC announcements, and throwing about cryptic hints all concerning the June 26 update. Shall we unwrap it?
The love for Judy really is a real thing. Comments like “Judy my beloved 😍” and “Judy & V 4ever” demonstrate that she could probably be one of the most loved romance options in the game. Even @Spartans_VP weighs in, calling her “so cool,” and who could refute that? Everybody’s ego who has ever romanced her with the exception of @DeathsAvarice rallying: “She so is, romanced her and no regrets at all.” That’s the vibe.
But it does not end there, players want more Cyberpunk content. @KoLdBl0oDeD asked if the next DLC would be paid, to which the reply came: “it will be patch only, not full dlc.” Hmm. Interesting. Meanwhile, @R1cardocc and @T1A60 are big on that June 26 date, with one reply stating, “yes on the 26th redstream.” So maybe it’s the date we get some Phantom Liberty news? Not confirmed by CDPR, but that hype train has surely left the station.
Then there is the anime. Yeah, someone (@Alok31584975) demanded, “Give us the damn anime cdpr… trailer at least.” The Edgerunners fans still aren’t over it-and rightly so. The Netflix show was a smashing success, so any more content in that universe would probably be welcome.
The whole tweet also brought some cheering moments such as @Sofia_in_NC congratulating @Spartans_VP with a “Well deserved!” at which point @Gro3_ chimed in about forming strong communities. Aww. Then, Johnny Silverhand got the spotlight with @CreColPro channeling his line, “Just don’t let anyone change who you are, okay?” Deep.
Now, let us be real here. Majority just want to know: when can this update hit? From the Judy love to DLC talks and the loquacious words about June 26, the truth remains that somehow, in their hearts, Cyberpunk 2077 players still cherish Night City. Be it a patch or an expansion or just sheer bragging rights for more Judy content; one thing is for sure, this community is here to stay. And so is the ever-criticized CDPR making us guess, at every step. Stay tuned, choombas.
