Bandai Namco has released the third trailer for their upcoming game My Hero One’s Justice 2, in Japan. The third trailer in English is sure to be on the way after the Japanese release.

The new trailer focuses on what makes the characters in the series so unique, along with a showcase of their “Quirk” powers.

My Hero One’s Justice 2 is based on the manga and anime series My Hero Academia by Kohei Horikoshi. The series began in 2014 but has become a worldwide hit with fans. The series is currently ongoing, with the English Language dub airing on Adult Swim on Cartoon Network in North America.

The sequel will be similar to the previous installment released in 2018 but will include several new characters. The previous game also included destructible environments, teaming up with others to unleash special attacks, and utilizing characters “Quirks” to win in battle.

The new trailer is only fifteen seconds long but shows many of the characters that will appear in the game and some of their special skills. Since the commercial is so short, fans will have to pay careful attention to spot their favorites.

The Bandai Namco website for the game states, “The battle for justice continues, but this time the fight gets bigger, badder, and more quirkier in My Hero One’s Justice 2. Based on the hit anime series, all of your favorite characters return in this 3D arena fighter that pits heroes and villains in the ultimate test for righteousness.”

The new game contains scenes from the series, allowing gamers to play through them to victory. There are 40 playable characters previously announced. Fans can choose their favorites to create a “dream team.”

Preorder bonuses for the game have been announced, including Nomu and two playable characters in the standard edition. The Collector’s Edition is packaged in a steel case, game badges, and an exclusive Deku LED figure in a Collector’s Box. The Digital Deluxe Edition comes with an early unlock of Izuku Midoriya Full Cowling 100%, Kai Chisaki Ver. 2, and Nomu, along with a special customization item for Izuku.

My Hero One’s Justice 2 is scheduled for release on March 13, 2020, for the PlayStation 4, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.
