Phasmophobia is the game where players can team up and go on their own series of ghost-hunting adventures. Everyone has an assigned role and equipment to monitor, with the hopes of catching raw footage of signs from the other side.

The co-op psychological horror title can do no wrong on Steam, it seems. It has an abundance of positive reviews, which just go to show how fun hunting ghosts with friends really is. The developer doesn’t plan on stopping with their improvements either, despite the game only having been out since September.

They’ve already made plans of making the ghosts smarter, as well as adding a bunch of other quality improvements as to give players a more optimal and consistent experience.  If you were in interested in seeing what other surprises the developer had in store for fans, you’re in luck.

A new patch is out now that addressed something players have wanted for months now. And that is being able to throw stuff even after you die. Before this update, you just had to sit and watch the shenanigans of your team if you let a ghost take you out.

That spells trouble if you unfortunately become deceased early in the match because then you’re just there playing with your thumbs. Now, if things don’t shake out as you originally planned, you can throw objects around.

It’s a nice consolation instead of just waiting until the match to end, not being able to do anything. You can mess with your mates as they try to find the ghost’s whereabouts with better results.

It’s pretty amazing to see how Phasmophobia has developed in such a short period of time. It’s a fresh entry in a pretty crowded space. Fans have loved the co-op design where they and others can team up in hopes of having more success with their paranormal investigation.

This latest patch is just the tip of the iceberg as far as future plans from Kinetic Games. Another update that is getting the community excited is a prison level. The developer has confirmed that it’s currently in progress, but there are no concrete plans for a release date just yet.

Moving throughout the haunted house is already creepy enough, so you can just imagine how much more tension there will be ghost-hunting inside a dark and creepy prison. It could take this game to new heights, especially if the developer keeps these patches coming.
