The whole set of Future Foundation sprays has just dropped for Marvel Rivals, and the community is busy dining on it like an all-you-can-eat buffet. An official tweet brought the entire team together, all in their glamor, with an image that should have turned someone’s stomach-even if only figuratively. And protagonist reactions are about equally split, just like any Marvel multiverse crossover.
First up, sprays. All five are up for grabs right now, holding on to that achromatic Future Foundation design any comic buff will recognize straight away. The image attached to the tweet has the team positioned as if about to devour something really good-a moment of delight, perhaps, in an otherwise hectic thread.
But, it’s not the front of cheers. Players went away from celebrating and started asking for changes; one pleaded: “Please make the combat chest purchasable by units. I beg.” Then another groused, “Improve the aiming on console, it’s impossible to play well.” Ouch. Then there are some others who simply want Spider-Man dead (well, “we want Spidey dead”), and I must say…okay, buddy, who hurt you?
The real drama, however, comes from the back-and-forth quarrel between WreslinZone and a handful of users. WZ calls the skins “garbage,” demanding comic accuracy, while AymanPlaysPS counters with “Get used to the artstyle or just leave.” It is like watching a superhero fight unfold in real-time, only instead of punches, they keep going back and forth in CAPS and emojis.
Others are only trying to enjoy the game. One player inquired whether emotes and MVP would be sold separately next season; another humorously chimed in, “Not even the official rivals account can line it up right,” followed by a screenshot of a misaligned spray. Classic.
Then come the complaints, aimed at shitty matchmaking. “Your matchmaking is the worst I have seen in my life,” says an angry player, while another reports encountering “3 device cheater with new psn accounts.” Yikes.
But hey, it’s not all chaos. Some loud-mouth fans have got good things to say about the new additions, like SarahnatorX who calls the new MVP pic “the best.” And then, of course, there’s Marcelo0089, zealous as ever, begging, “Bring Pixie to the game as a strategist please she is my favorite marvel character.”
So, what’s it going to be? Marvel Rivals keeps chugging along with the hype train, some yelling all the way from the back. They have come in with the Future Foundation sprays, with the debate raging on endlessly, and where the game’s community never comes to a standstill. Whether for skins, drama, or seeing Spider-Man finally getting his roasting (literally, apparently), there’s never a dull moment.
