The fifth week of LCS was explosive.
Cloud 9 is crushing every single opponent, while other teams struggle to pick up wins.

Evil Geniuses vs Team Liquid
Ornn / Sejuani / Zoe / Ezreal / Braum vs Sett / Elise / Viktor / Ashe / Tahm Kench
Evil Geniuses dominated Liquid this game. Even though the draft was good from both sides, EG were able to execute theirs much better. Bang showed up his skills of an ADC World Champion. His Ezreal was a joy to watch this game, his positioning and auto-weaving between abilities was a joy to watch.
Team Liquid on other hand is looking scrambled. Even though Broxah has arrived in NA 2 weeks ago, he didn’t have much time to practice with the roster and this can be seen in their in-game gameplay. There are lots of errors and mistakes in their gameplay.
A Mountain Soul and a Baron later, EG picked up the win against Team Liquid.
Immortals vs Cloud 9
Sett / Elise / Orianna / Xayah / Rakan vs Vladimir / Lee Sin / Zoe / Senna / Tahm Kench
Cloud 9 debuted a new start in the bottom side of the map. The ADC Senna was not farming to pick-up souls, while Tahm Kench was farming CS. Due to Senna’s passive, she gets a lot of souls as a ‘support’, which she did this game and reached 100 souls at around 25 minutes. These souls grant Senna insane stats, which allowed Zven on this champion to completely demolish the team of Immortals.
An Infernal Dragon Soul and a Baron later, Cloud 9 picked up the easy win against Immortals.
Golden Guardians vs 100 Thieves
Gangplank / Olaf / Zoe / Ezreal / Yuumi vs Lucian / Gragas / Syndra / Miss Fortune / Nautilus
This game was the Hauntzer show in the top lane on Lucian. He had an impeccable game, completely dominating his lane opponent on Gangplank. Gangplank disrespected Lucian early by going for Sheen and paid with his life multiple times.
100 Thieves had one of the better games of the season, securing objectives left and right and keeping their high tempo.
An Ocean Dragon Soul later and 100 Thieves picked up the win.
FlyQuest vs Counter Logic Gaming
Sett / Trundle / Corki / Xayah / Rakan vs Aatrox / Sejuani / Azir / Varus / Tahm Kench
PowerOfEvil received player of the week after this game. He played on Corki and absolutely dominated the Azir pick from CLG. While CLG had some moments, where they tried to step up in the game, they were unable to deal with the superior teamfight and gameplay from Flyquest and lost the game in the end.
