Gigabyte has a lot in store for its customers these days, especially for Aorus motherboards users.
One of the good stories to tell about the latest offering from the Taiwanese manufacturer is the DDR4-3600 kit. This RGB memory kit gives a boost of approximately four percent to specific models of motherboards under the Aorus line. Accordingly, the frequency can reach as high as 3733 MHz.
This improvement is made possible with the help of the so-called Aorus Memory Boost. This is a performance-enhancing capability that Gigabyte has added to the kit. This is an exclusive feature of the Aorus motherboards. Here is a glimpse of the 2017 Aorus motherboards, which gamers could examine and compare to the current models.
Specifically, the boost can be done in two major variants of motherboards – the Z390 and X570.
Among the Z390 models are the Aorus Xtreme, Aorus Master, Aorus Ultra, and Aorus Xtreme Waterforce. Also included are the Aorus Pro Wi-Fi, Z390 Aorus, and Xtreme Waterforce 5G.
Meanwhile, the X570 lineup includes the Aorus Pro Wi-Fi, Aorus Ultra, Aorus Pro, Aorus Xtreme, and Aorus Master.
Specific tweaks have to be done to experience a faster performance for the Aorus motherboards. The BIOS has to be set in such a way that the maximum frequency would be reached.
Apart from this exciting development, Gigabyte has launched its widely anticipated Aorus motherboards, the TRX40.
During the past weeks, various tech sites and several enthusiasts shared their respective thoughts about the product. They even came up with different assumptions on the specs it would feature.
According to Gigabyte, the TRX40 Aorus motherboards are compatible with the third-generation AMD Ryzen Threadripper Processors. In short, only the best performance can be expected from this duo.
The flagship model, TRX40 Aorus Xtreme, comes with 16+3 Phases of Infineon Digital VRM Solution, paired with 70A Power Stage. The armor is thermal reactive, courtesy of the incorporated fins-array heatsink, a baseplate of nanocarbon, and a mega-Heatpipe of 8mm.
The TRX40 Aorus Xtreme also has thermal guards that go with the four NVMe PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2. For Internet connectivity, the unit is equipped with Intel’s Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax 2T2R and BT 5. These are boosted with Aorus Antenna.
On the other hand, the TRX40 Aorus Master features 16+3 Phases of Infineon Digital VRM Solution. This is boosted with 70A Power Stage. This model is likewise commendable in terms of thermal design, aesthetics, and durability. However, its Wi-Fi capability does not come with the Aorus antenna.
