Twitch continues with a bunch of stuff for streamers and viewers with the Nightreign launch event, and everybody’s rushing to claim the badges and global emote before they’re gone. The event launched at midnight, May 29th, and goes on till noon, May 30th–giving everyone a tight 36-hour window to grab the Recluse Badge just by streaming for 15 minutes together. Of course, there is the Wylder Badge too—just download and upload an Elden Ring clip from May 29th through June 3rd. Easy, huh? Well, not for everyone.

Some players like Wortheus seem already to be deep in trouble, tweeting, “Is it already on? We stream since 2+ hours and nothing happened yet.” Ugh. Then come a few questions from the confused—SimpKingKen questioned, “Stream together? So do I just link it with someone else or something?? And is it possible on console???” Twitch is keeping mum at best, so all guesses are as good as any through the event.

Next up: timezone gyrations. Non-U.S. players are scrambling to convert PT into local time, with one user, AkimaKahn, catching on quickly, “PT is 9 hours behind CEST. So add 9 hours to the time.” Easy, unless you are _Kh0di, who whined, “I want the recluse one so bad but I have to work during the window. This makes me so sad….” RIP.

And the drama goes on! BenjiShaw7 backed the statement with, “Twitch is a terrorist platform,” and then thisisGwenevere laid in another on Twitch: “Twitch seems to be pushing a lot of new things but still not working on a fair and balanced use of TOS.” Thereafter, Palecrayon and LordOfLight131 plunged quickly into fast and furious because of something… something else, the conversation went downhill in no time.

Now, what is cool for collectors is real. Aj 🌺 showed some hype: “Wait the recluse badge looks so cunty,” with Stepaniess Schneiderns chiming in too: “Excited for the Nightreign launch! Can’t wait to grab those badges and the new emote!”

So, in case you were hesitating, move fast since they shall not last forever. And if you miss out, well… there’s always next time. Twitch events disappear, but FOMO is forever.
