Recently, one of the top members of the mysterious Court of Owls from Gotham Knights was brought to life by a cosplayer. The Court of Owls is made up of Gotham’s wealthiest and most influential people, and they want to use its fearsome Talon enforcers to consolidate power in the troubled city. A brief allusion to this shadowy group was included in Batman: Arkham Origins by WB Games Montréal; the Court of Owls’ first proper video game debut will be in Gotham Knights.
Since Gotham Knights occur after Batman’s death, the Court of Owls in the game will act differently than they do in the comics. In Gotham Knights, for instance, the Court’s Talons appear to be mind-controlled zombies rather than the skilled killers of the printed page, and it has been speculated that the Court will recruit poor people like Mr. Freeze to their cause.
However, the look of the Court in Gotham Knights is primarily unchanged from the comics, with low-caste members wearing scary white owl masks and high-caste leaders wearing more regal garb. These masks were included in press kits for Gotham Knights that were sent out before last year’s DC Fandom.
A skilled cosplayer who goes by the name Kamui cosplay has unveiled a cosplay outfit of an influential member of the Court of Owls from the video game Gotham Knights. This person, known as the Voice of the Court, wears a fancy golden mask and a dark blue business suit.
The cosplayer’s previous videos showed how she assembled the Gotham Knights mask from the Court of Owls, and Unreal Engine was utilized to render the chair and background in the final image. Kamuicosplay said it was a privilege to bring the Voice of the Court to life, and she is looking forward to the debut of Gotham Knights later this month.
