Wait a moment, Fortnite players. Captain Phasma could arguably soon be blasting her way into the game, bringing this shiny chrome armor in LEGO form. A fresh teaser has been out, with everyone theorizing that the Star Wars villain will be the next LEGO Pass reward. Yes! You heard correctly—LEGO.
The not-so-convincing teaser shows a blocky, LEGO-style version of Captain Phasma’s classic helmet. Stating only “NEW CAPTAIN PHASMA SKIN TEASER” and throwing in a couple hype-inducing exclamation marks, we are not really in on much—no actual info whatsoever: no specifics, no release date—only vibes. Wild theories are abound on the other hand.
Why LEGO? Well, since the launch of the LEGO Fortnite mode last year, Fortnite naturally has been neck-deep into its LEGO collaboration era. Players can be seen chilling in LEGO models of classic skins like Peely or Raven, so throwing Phasma into the mix does sound quite fair. Plus, May the 4th is very much rolling around the corner, with an almost convenient ‘too good to be true’ situation.
But now the burning $50 question: free reward included in the paid battle pass or a straight flex in the item shop? Effective to the LEGO pass, if they do want there to be actual challenges (ugh) or V-bucks thrown in there, it would be quite the grind for the player either way. Either way, prepare your wallets, Phasma stans.
And, no good skin. I mean, Captain Phasma armor is chef’s kiss customization material. Just think of the metallic shine in LEGO, being darted off of bricks with glory as she demotes! That would blend right into the chaotic weapon pool of any Fortnite game with that First Order blaster.
And before you do any hyping, just keep in mind Epic likes to play mind games. They could just flood it in tomorrow or make us wait for weeks. But here’s to just hoping the funkiest of chaos lays ahead if Phasma really is on the way. Star Wars x Fortnite certainly seems to be keeping the momentum up!
So keep those notifications on, maybe give a once-over at the item shop too (just in case), and keep praying to the Battle Pass gods that this won’t be yet another “limited-time-only” heartbreak. Because let us face it—shiny, blocky villains are ever so needed in our lives.
And if this does drop before May the 4th? Smart, Epic. Smart.
