According to EA Sports, Hockey Ultimate Team and World of Chel will both receive a Mighty Ducks makeover in NHL 23. EA Sports unveiled a teaser trailer on Tuesday that featured the Mighty Ducks’ newest threads alongside those of their nemesis team, the Hawks. Both made-up teams’ outfits for NHL 23’s World of Chel and Hockey Ultimate Team were available that afternoon. Both sets of jerseys are included, and in World of Chel, your virtual athletes will also get a pair of skates designed just for them.

Players of Hockey Ultimate Team will also get a boost to their squads. As part of the celebrations for the original film’s anniversary, EA Sports published a Ducks ICON Choice Pack, allowing players to add one of six alums from the Ducks to their teams. Legends like Teemu Selanne, Jean-Sebastien Giguere, Scott Niedermayer, Andy McDonald, Saku Koivu, and Francois Beauchemin have all played for the Ducks.

Players of NHL 23 who are concerned that just the premium edition would contain the Mighty Ducks DLC should rest assured that the extras will be included in all versions of the game. However, players must move swiftly, as the Fly Together upgrade is only available for a limited time. Players interested in something other than either game mode but are fans of the Mighty Ducks movies can still purchase replicas of the team’s outfits.

EA Sports also said that Adidas would sell commemorative 30th-anniversary jerseys alongside the upgrade. Adidas introduced their new jerseys on Monday, which will be available at their retail locations and online. In addition, Charlie Conway’s Mighty Ducks jersey and Gordon Bombay’s Hawks jersey, both made by Adidas, will be for sale. The jerseys look well with Trevor Zegras’s Anaheim Ducks jersey, featured on the cover of NHL 23.
