MSI is one of the best gaming laptop brands. The Taiwanese company is best known for the Titan Series, with the MSI GT76 Titan DT 9SG as the best choice for gamers and professionals running heavy software and programs. It boasts an expansive display, and the latest processors for optimal performance.

The MSI GT76 Titan boasts an exotic-car-inspired design with a streamlined aluminum cover and carbon fiber themed body. On the sides, it has grilles and metal mesh, which allow for unrestricted airflow. This complements the Cooler Boost Titan cooling system which features four fans and eleven heat pipes.

Though there are variants of the MSI Titan that come with a 17.3″ FHD (1920×1080), 240Hz, IPS-Level, the Titan DT 9SG features a 17.3″ UHD (3840×2160), 60Hz IPS-Level display. If you are looking for a 4k gaming laptop, this is a great deal. The panel also supports other demanding tasks like video editing, rendering, CAD, among others.

Under the hood, the MSI GT76 Titan DT 9SG packs an Intel Core i9-9900K processor clocked at 3.6GHz but can stretch to an impressive 5.0GHz. This processor improves performance by up to 85% compared to the previous Intel Core i7 processor.

As for the GPU, MSI configured this laptop with the GeForce® RTX 2080 8GB GDDR6. With the RTX™, 20 SERIES artificial intelligence real-time ray tracing and programmable shading are supported. The benchmark results by MSI show a 46% power boost compared to the previous GTX 1080 when playing Battlefield V AND 47% when playing Shadow of Tomb Raider.

The Titan comes with a 64GB DDR4 2666MHz RAM which ensures smooth performance and eliminates choppy frame rates. When it comes to storage, it is equipped with a Super Raid 4-1TB NVMe PCIe SSD and a 1TB HDD. SSDs are the best for gaming while the additional 1TB HDD will come in handy in saving your games and files.

As is the norm with MSI, the Titan features a Per-Key RGB Backlight Keyboard. Besides the Keyboard RGB, the lighting extends to the unique chassis underglow. Choose from the five preset color schemes or customize your RGB gaming theme from the over 16.8 million colors.

The connectivity options for the MSI Titan are unlimited. The laptop boasts one Type-C (USB3.2 Gen2 / DP / Thunderbolt™3), four Type-A USB3.2 Gen2, and Type-C USB3.2 Gen2 USB ports. For display output, there’s one HDMI (4K @ 60Hz), and one Mini-DisplayPort. The Killer Gb LAN and Killer ax Wi-Fi 6 prioritize networking traffic and prevent lag spikes.
