Custom gaming PC brand Maingear today released the Maingear Vector. This is a sleek, stylish and compact gaming notebook designed for gamers and content creators who are always on the go. The performance, functionality and value are all above the bar.

“To date, the MAINGEAR VECTOR delivers the most performance per dollar of any gaming notebook that we have ever offered,” said Maingear’s CEO, Wallace Santos. “The VECTOR is the perfect solution for gamers, streamers, and professional creators who want uncompromised functionality without the excessive weight often associated with gaming notebooks.”

Unlike your typical 15-inch notebook, the Vector is compact. It is .78-inches thin and weighs just 4.16lbs courtesy of the hybrid aluminium and polycarbonate construction. The Vector also offers tactile precision with a full range back-lit gaming keyboard with individually addressable RGB keys. Indeed, it’s not just a gaming machine; it is art as well.

While it is thin and ultralight, there is no sacrifice when it comes to performance. Maingear used an Intel Core i7-9750H Processor clocked at 2.6GHz for base frequency and Turbo Boost Speed up to 4.5GHz. As for the GPU, the Vector boasts the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, a model that comes with the award-winning NVIDIA Turing™ architecture.

One of the outstanding features of this graphics card is the NVIDIA OPTIMUS Technology which intelligently optimizes the GPU performance based on demand. This optimizes performance and makes the laptop battery efficient.

This GPU boasts the revolutionary Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) and improves efficiency by 15% compared to the predecessor. There’s also Whisper Mode which regulates the game’s framerates and graphical settings ensuring optimal efficiency and quiet gameplay.

To guarantee smooth gameplay or reliability when running heavy programs, Maingear configured this PC with a 16 GB DDR4-2666 MHz SODIMM RAM. Regarding the storage, there’s a 512 GB NVMe M.2 SSD, so you get fast loading times.

When it comes to connectivity, the Maingear Vector includes 2 x USB 3.1 (Gen 1 Type-A), 1 x USB 3.1 (Gen 1 Type-C), 2 x Mini DisplayPort Headphone/mic jack, and 1 x HDMI. Other features include a 4-cell 4000mAh battery rated 62Wh, Sound Blaster Cinema 5, Stereo Speakers, HD Camera, Card Reader and 802.11ac Wi-Fi (2.4 / 5 GHz + Bluetooth 5.0).

The Maingear Vector is available for purchase now at the Maingear website and Micro Center Online website for $1500. The PC will hit the other stores very soon. The Vector tags along with a generous one year warranty on labor and parts as well as a 15 days return window.
