Three days before the Summer Game Fest 2024, chaos is already spreading among these regional gamers. Staged by Geoff Keighley, this event is scheduled to be live-streamed from YouTube Theater and special guests beginning Friday at 9 PM GMT, 5 PM EST, and 2 PM PST, with thousands tuned for phenomenal games scoop.
It’s supposed to be an exhaustive edition on what’s newly in and what will be coming with video games, but players are speculating what exactly will be shown there. Just some of the hits about Wolf Among Us 2 while others are cracking jokes about that weird potato game from last year.
EA SPORTS UFC 6? Absolutely! One fan actually tagged Keighley in the question. And others are hopeful about Judas, Arc Raiders, and TMNT: The Last Ronin. The Kojima appraisals have already christened it the “Death Stranding 2 Worship Show.”
Nonetheless, the time is something of a sore point: with the stream beginning at 5 PM ET, European gamers get caught in the late-night gig again-How about a handful of others with grumbles about being at work again during this event? Well, VODs are there for the rescue, aren’t they?
And the hype never really died after Summer Game Fest! PlayStation’s State of Play and an Xbox Showcase essentially fill this week with gaming showcases. As one very excited fan put it: “We’re eating good this week”-
That, on the other end, also brings notation for rumors galore. Some have them lined up for Borderlands 4, a Street Fighter crossover with Fortnite, and The Witcher 4 while some others are holding in their breath for the release date of Sonic Racing Crossworlds.
