Eyes on the Star Wars fans; next season is stacking up some serious First Order heat. EA and DICE have confirmed the First Order Stormtrooper and Captain Phasma will be included, and the hype is real.
Star Wars’s actual tweet was quite blunt and to the point: A request for fans to discuss other trooper skins they want to see. No replies must love social interaction! Honestly, people! The community just loves to get engaged with hundreds of replies.
So what about these? The “shiny and aggressive cousins” of the good old Empire Troopers, which are for the people who are about to crawl under a boulder hiding from the sequels (or those who just disdain them with every fibre in their body): The First Order Stormtroopers. Captain Phasma? The one with the cool chrome helmet and way-too-little screen time to really leave an impression.
So now the real question: What comes after this? Fans have been clamoring for more Trooper types since the beginning of time! Clone commandos? Shadow Troopers? Imperial shock troopers? The sky is the limit, and with EA dropping virtual crumbs to keep us satisfied-ish, we may just barely be scratching the surface.
But really, Phasma is the star of the party here. Totally underused in the movies-loves just a tad more presence in-game. Everyone is rolling chrome armor that season like there’s no tomorrow.
As for other skins? Crickets chirping! Weird. Everybody must be busy with the wish lists. Or perhaps they’re just going to sit there and watch the flowing tide of “WHERE IS REX?” comments roll in.
The silence will not last long, let me tell you that!
