The game went on to be released in Japan as Nier Gestalt and on the PlayStation 3 with a different design for the protagonist. The anniversary website uses a unique design for the "10," which imitates the head of Emil. Unfortunately, the website has almost no content. Three buttons are linking to the official sites for NieR: Automata, NieR: Replicant and Gestalt, and the merchandise store. There is also background music that users can toggle on and off. There is also a "What's New" ticker that announces the website's official release date on December 3, 2019, in Japan. The other news is from July, which announces the YorHa Stage Play Ver1.3a dates. The new website will be used to announce various events, limited goods, and any new game content. NieR has been popular since it's release. NieR: Automata, which was released in February 2017 in Japan, has won the PlayStation Platinum Prize for selling one million units, plus the PlayStation 25th Anniversary User's Choice Awards at the recent PlayStation Awards 2019. NieR: Automata is the most recent title in the series and is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Square Enix and Platinum Games developed it, and it was published by Square Enix.
