A new plot series called Return of the Mammalians and a new version of the co-op swarm mode called Salmon Run are available to players in addition to the game's numerous gameplay modes. The majority of the new fashion pieces in Splatoon 3 will allow users to customize their squid children before sending them into combat with other players or a horde of aquatic creatures. The first game to receive its own special version Switch OLED model is Splatoon 3. It includes a customized dock and Joy-Con controls that all reflect the game's graffiti-style graphics along with a spray of ink.
