Brace yourselves because Roblox is getting an awe-inspiring runway-fueled celebration of magic. The fabulous Pride Guild (yeap, it’s a thing) is hosting a fashion show at the theatre of Twitch this Summer Thursday, June 26, at noon PT. Five designers, one runway, and a riot of custom Roblox avatars ready to make their way down to the limelight! Rainbow vibes? Absolutely! Some old-fashioned drama? Oh well, just you have to wait.

Wait, what is going on? Yeah, the Pride Guild aka the coolest club in Roblox is sponsoring the showing of its custom outfits designed by the members. Met Gala with blocks and tons of neon. The whole event will stream on Twitch, and judging from the tone of the official tweet, it’s gonna sparkle and dazzle.

Troll replies never fade, though. There is some degree of excitement emitted by the gaming contingent, like user @cacoochie: “roblox serving more pride than half of hollywood ever did like be serious for once 😭.” That reminds me! It reminds me so much! Followed by some skepticism from @BobDaStreamer: “Roblox? The game that doesn’t take child safety or paying people for their work seriously? Ick.” Ouch!

Then there…the usual suspects have again started labeling Twitch as “terrorist supporters” (???), because… for reasons? Well, maybe you guys should take some time off, @BenjiShaw7 and @Marauder2772. While in the meantime, @inviicta croons it down with a casual “Hey I know that guy!” as if they were just chilling at a backyard barbecue and not in a digital fashion showdown.

The really wild part: then Roblox just keeps going and going, evolving as it goes. This is not just a sandbox where kids build block-shaped houses anymore; this is a fully-fledged cultural hub that holds fashion shows and concerts and, apparently, now prides itself on hosting the Pride Guild runway walks. You can say whatever you want about the platform (and you sure do), but you have to acknowledge at least that it attempts things that are not even on the radar of any other game.

Put it on your to-do list, set an alarm, or vaguely remember to check Twitch this Thursday. Whatever you go in for-maybe it’s for fashion, maybe for some drama, or maybe just to witness the chaos of the comments-in any case, go watch that! I mean, at least this could be counted as proof of Roblox doing something while we’re still scratching our heads on how to build a functioning door in-game.

To put it all together: are we saying it? Gaming fashion shows are legit now. What a time to be alive. Or, you know, blocky avatar.
