The co-op RPG Outriders is nearing its April launch date. So far, People Can Fly have shown a lot of promising elements that have really gained traction ever since the game was originally announced back in 2019 at E3.

Initial impressions show a compelling co-op format where up to three players can join together to fight off the dark terrors on a mysterious planet known as Enoch. The sci-fi elements give Outriders a distinct vibe that certainly is warranted in the RPG space right now. It seems like the past couple of entries haven’t brought forth fresh ideas, but that looks to be changing with this upcoming RPG.

If you’ve been excited to test out the game yourself ahead of the April 1st release, you’re in luck. The official demo will be available next week and according to reports, it will be a pretty complete experience.

Players in fact won’t have to worry about any time limits. Instead, they can play for as long as they want to see what People Can Fly have worked diligently on over the last few months.

Not only that, but all character classes will be available for players to take a test drive with. There are a lot of good options out of the gate, which include the Technomancer, Trickster, Pyromancer, and the Devastator.

Each class has unique abilities that have really shown a lot of promise in the past couple of videos that the developer put out highlighting Outrider’s potential.

In addition to using all kinds of traditional weaponry, players in Outriders have elemental powers to take advantage of. That’s where this sci-fi RPG is taking a different direction compared to other RPGs in this space. That’s refreshing to see and should help Outriders soar to the top of the charts in no time.

It also looks like there are plenty of ways to customize weapons, powers, and skills trees. The various options should give players a lot of content and systems to dive deep into for the next couple of months post-launch.

Regardless of how gamers receive this co-op RPG, everyone will be able to test out its potential next week. This is one of the most anticipated games of 2021 so many are anxious to see how it does. This complete demo — which will also support cross-play after releasing according to reports — will be a good test for the game’s future development and success.
