A rare Creator’s Voice interview saw Huang spill some very juicy tech details about the processor of the Nintendo Switch 2 custom SoC; all over the world, gamers were screaming. The video, gifted by the official Nintendo Twitter handle, always gives a glimpse of the rare tech secrets behind this highly anticipated console, to which the internet had its opinions.
The moment Huang mentioned those specs, the internet went crazy in reaction. Gamers, such as @nosajtimed, immediately assumed that this was a straight affirmation that the Switch 2, in its own right, carries some high power chips: “Ok now that he is talking about I’m convinced the switch 2 has a high powered Chip in it.” Critics, however, took this opportunity to bash further on NVIDIA’s past hardware decisions: “Jensen, did the RTX 5060’s missing RAM go to the Switch 2?”
What hit hard was Huang’s heartwarming salute to the late Nintendo titan Satoru Iwata. Multiple responses such as that of @JP_Bongiovanni talked about how the adventures that may have doomed the Wii U gave birth to Switch: “Nice to see Iwata honored. The Switch was truly revolutionary… They took a risk with the WiiU and it didn’t pay off, but it paved the way for the Switch.” Even @IntroSpecktive simply said, “Iwata really was the goat.” Facts.
This always entails a Nintendo conversation without port requests. @goofyahlalafell said, “please bring doom the peak ages to switch 2 🙏,” while @theblackdiablos and @TFS0ul insisted on enhancements for Xenoblade X, and @LovelyXboxGamer just had one demand for Nintendo: “lower the rice.” Whichever that means.
But hey, @lemonbox83 called out a rogue investment skill: “I’ve already lost 17 cents fro investing 5 bucks,” while @willdoesediting asked the real hard-hitting questions: “How many turbofarts per gigashit?” Priorities, people.
It is likely that the spotlight has been intensely thrown at the NVIDIA-Nintendo partnership. Switch 2, with Huang confirming custom tech under the hood, possibly turning out to be a real beast. As @GabaghoulMedia warned, “LFG now keep the scalpers out 😡.”
Right now, the world is waiting for Nintendo’s next move. Will Switch 2 really follow through with these leaks? Will it really be next-gen gaming? And more importantly…Will it get the Xenoblade X update? That is yet to be seen and probably 50,000 more fan tweets will prove that.
