Team Owners:

The New York Subliners is owned by Sterling VC, a subsidiary of Sterling Equities, which owns the MLB team New York Mets, and SportsNet New York.

Branding/Logo:

The logo is inspired by old warships utilizing dazzle camouflage. The image contrasts bold colors and lines that intersect each other. The point the New York Subliners is making with their logo is that visually loud logos attract attention, but at great speeds it disorients opponents and confuses them.

Using bright yellow as the backdrop will make sure that the logo is “a weapon and a provocation.”

The team chose the name Subliners to symbolize that they are “born from the grit and chaos of the underground. Like our city, our team is built from the ground up to be a movement that challenges the mainstream and the status quo.”

The New York Subliners wants it to be known that they are the team that thrives under high pressure, stakes, and intensity.
