The HP Omen X 2S 15 just blew out the competition out of the water with its dual screen feature. Now, it sets on claiming the market in India.

According to the report, the laptop is being sold for Rs 209,990 (about $3,000). That’s significantly higher compared to the suggested retail price for the US market. In fact, the 17-inch variant is being sold on Amazon for just $1,350.

Sumeer Chandra, managing director of HP India, said that they aim to bring the HP Omen X 2S to the Indian market to share their passion for gaming. She said the laptop will provide modern gamers the best gaming experience on the laptop.

The second screen is mounted on top of the keyboard. It’s a six-inch display with a resolution of up to 1080p. This will give you another view to work on other things without interrupting your game. For instance, you can watch YouTube, check your Facebook, or send messages to friends on WhatsApp.

The HP Omen X 2S 15 features NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 graphics and the next-gen GDDR6 memory. This gives it plenty of power to play high-end titles that require high frame rates. The laptop is equipped with the latest 9th Gen Intel Core processor with 5GHz Turbo and 16 GB RAM.

The current model has up to 144Hz refresh rate. Another new model will come in Fall of 2019, and that will have as much as 240Hz refresh rate. This means that your games will be blur-free.

Despite the solid specs, the HP Omen X 2S is extremely light for its class, weighing only 5.18Ibs. The metal chassis is only just 20mm2 in width. It won’t hurt your back carrying this gaming laptop around.

It is also equipped with the Omen Tempest technology. The company partnered with Thermal Grizzly to come up with a cooling technology specifically for the HP Omen X 2S. The cooling technology ensures optimum experience even when you are playing for hours. The 12V fan module, featuring a 3-phase motor, along with the fluid dynamic bearings ensures maximum efficiency. This means you don’t have to buy a third-party thermal coolant for your laptop.

But HP is also bringing the Omen 15 laptop to the Indian market, which may find the dual-screen price prohibitive. The variant has a starting price of Rs 124,990 ($1,800). The HP Pavilion 15 gaming laptop has a starting price of Rs 70,990 ($1,030).
