But one of the most talked about reveals to come out of the event was a new game from WB Games: Montreal titled Batman: Gotham Knights. A trailer for the game was released online during the event, and fan reactions were very positive. Along with this, a seven minute gameplay video was also released, showing off some of the game's co-op functions during a critical story mission. One player is controlling Batgirl while the other is controlling Robin. We see some interesting features right away. Batgirl is driving a motorcycle through the streets of Gotham that looks a lot like the Bat Pod bike that Christian Bale used in the movies The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises. Robin has access to the Justice League satellite, and can use it to teleport short distances. We see some stealth gameplay followed by some dodge and smash fighting. All of these were popular elements of the Arkham series, so it should be familiar to longtime fans. We also got to see the beginning of a boss fight encounter with Mr. Freeze, wherein Batgirl and Robin leap all over the place, avoiding his freeze blasts before bringing the fight to Batman's coldest foe.
