Players of Marvel Rival had to be treated to some sort of nice little surprise, with the entire Tic-Tac-Toe spray going free to grab from June 5 to June 12 without any sort of move from the owners, marketers, or anybody else. Were we ever going to complain? It was made available to just flaunt or for the sake of having one more cosmetic. Going back to the official tweets: “Claim Your Victory, One Square at a Time,” and honestly, that was a vibe.
Then, you could imagine: the comment section was wild! Some players had some moments and came along to say, “W lol wth. Thsts fire,” while others almost immediately began demanding, “Release rivals on switch 2 NOW.” Typical gamer behaviour: one hand free stuff, with the other hand they will request the moon.
Along came the competitive lot already deep in debate as James spoke up about ranked crossplay “Bring Crossplay out on competitive, people who dont wanna match against Pc/console can switch it off” and then, on the contrary, others said the PC people will have an unfair advantage. The discussion just never seems to end.
And let’s not forget the whole “nerf and buff” discussion-well, how could there be an update without it? Oliver demanded outright that Magik be nerfed: “Magik is a flying DPS that is ruining the game for aerial characters,” whereas Ashyky spammed a bunch of calls to buff Warlock’s heals, as seemingly their support is in dire need of help.
HorrorShuffle, of course, mentioned the MVP screen bug-The text of Future Foundation Mr. Fantastic appeared in Chinese, with all other texts in English. A small but huge gig for gamers.

So basically, just another day in the Marvel Rivals community-community freebie obsessions, endless demands, and utter chaos. Though the spray is a nice little gesture. Whether you use it as a battle in style or to meme a bit mid-match, it hits hard.
