Inin Games has released the official release trailer for Umihara Kawase BaZooKa! leading to its upcoming console launch. The game is currently available on PC, but the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 launch aren't until the end of this month. \n \nUmihara Kawase BaZooKa! is a fixed-area battle action game with several different modes of play. Players work quickly to clear the screen of enemies while performing combos with a bazooka or with a fishing rod. The game brings together beloved 22 characters from multiple series. \n \nThe Challenge Mode contains 40 different stages. The levels range from obstacles like moving platforms, dangerous sea life, and giant creatures. \n \nPlayers can complete in either 4 players online or offline party mode for more multiplayer action. \n \n \n \nThe release trailer shows off the character select screen, including the action. Players first have to choose their favorite character, which has been recreated to match the Umihara Kawase BaZooKa! game. From there, players will get thrown into a challenging level until the last fighter is standing. \n \nInin Games is offering multiple versions of the game. They include a digital download or retail edition with the game and an instruction card. The Steelbook edition comes with the physical game, variant cover, and an original SteelBook. The games are numbered, with 2500 available for the Nintendo switch and 1500 for the PlayStation 4. \n \nThe Collector's Edition comes with everything from the SteelBook edition, but also the original soundtrack, hardcover art book, four stickers, a large two-sided poster, and 22 character cards packaged in a hardcover Collector's Edition box with a magnetic lock. Only 1500 are available for the Nintendo Switch and 700 for the PlayStation 4. \n \nUmihara Kawase BaZooKa! is the latest title in the Umihara Kawase series, which debuted in 1994. The game stars Kawase, a young girl who travels across several stages and collects fish with her fishing line. The first game in the series to launch in North America was Sayonara Umihara Kawase in 2014 for the Nintendo 3DS and later ported to the PlayStation Vita and PC. \n \nThe last game in the series that launched in North America was Umihara Kawase Fresh! in 2019. The title is currently available for the Nintendo Switch for those who want to try out the game before the newest title is released later this month. \n \nUmihara Kawase BaZooKa! launches on the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on October 30. The game is currently available for PC via Steam.
