More cosmetics came up at Fortnite by Epic Games, and, well, the hype is just too much, though not so much on a good note. Item Shop hype, angry confusion, and outright rage by the community now envelope the much-awaited return of the DC skins and newly placed Tsuki Goth.

On the bright side, the Tsuki Gothic style has finally landed! It’s a great way to make the fan-favorite skin a little darker and edgier, while the DC cosmetics are having their return! Grand characters such as Batman Who Laughs and many more iconic skins are back on rotation again. Players can even buy them using the creator code “Shiina” to support the leaker that leaked this information.

Here comes the other part of it, which is the cries from the community. A massive mess of complaints, bug reports, and unanswered requests have flooded the replies under ShiinaBR’s announcement tweet. One player, @mertcan11356837, went ahead to say a very rude comment: “Shop is so ass i want to buy smth but shop shit af.” Others, like @Freddy1565, are just patiently waiting for skins to come back: “Still no Clyde. :(”

Thereafter, followed the XP fiasco. More players began reporting leveling fast in the game, only to get stuck in their levels once in the lobby. @Ayaan_naayA complained, “xp is glitched i went up 7 levels in two games but in the lobby it says i level 33.” Then, @austinbmerrill7 quit: “I’m not even playing tonight this fucking season has been nothing but bugs.”

Then there is that giant elephant in the room that is Street Fighter. Rumors have it that Epic may hold off the presumably biennial Street Fighter collab in favor of seasonal and DC-themed drops. @DeaDWooDEnD1983 went all out and directly asked ShiinaBR if there was any truth to the speculation yet, but that was crickets. Meanwhile, @Ironhaide1 posted a meme of a crying wojak with the caption, “Oh boy no Street Fighter again.” The pain is real.

That definitely was a high for some in the community. @itsarkheops went on to praise an underrated pickaxe from the Batman Who Laughs set and admitted they were asleep for it at first but now can’t get enough of it. While @bananalyfgaming kept it short and sweet: “super cool skin.”

The big question remains; What’s next? If the leaks are anything to go by, and player rage is to be taken as an indicator, Epic will be putting a lot of fires out. XP issues, the absences of fan-requested skins, and the never-ending wait for Street Fighter are all boiling up the community’s kettle. At least, the Tsuki Gothic look is something to be proud of, right?

For now, it would be wise to grab the new styles and DC skins while they last. However, don’t be shocked when the XP bar starts moving on its own; Classic Fortnite.
