Drool-worthy would be the new skin in Fortnite, and it has been a topic of discussion since its release. It appeared last night in the Item Shop, and players have been going crazy. The skin is an oddball, comedic sushi roll-person with arms and legs; naturally, it comes with emotes and accessories-a bizarre and unique cosmetic drop that has just recently landed.

An announcement was made by HYPEX, the widely known Fortnite leaker, on his Twitter page with a purchase link to the skin. The Terra of the Skin also gave a cheeky plug for his creator code claiming, “If you really want to support me, use HYPEX at checkout.” Judging from the indefinite number of responses flooding his page, it looks like the community is definitely on board.

A million questions and demands are thrown at the community whenever a skin drops. The reactions to HYPEX’s tweet ranged from hype, some confusion, and absolute begging for other skins to make a comeback. One inquired about the Squid Game collab skins: Would they be arriving in the shop for Australian players soon? Another one was distraught not to have the Bed Chem emote and pleaded for it to be made available, all caps.

“Remind me again, when is Dragon Ball coming back?” Meanwhile, someone else is begging for the T-800 Terminator skin to be brought back. The fellow citizens that await Codi Cottontail can scarcely contain their tears every time a skin releases that isn’t theirs.

Very strange that there is almost no discontent about this one-win really rarely for these Fortnite cosmetics. One player stated that this could actually be the first skin in too long that has not been roasted by the community. Maybe the community just can’t hate walking, dancing sushi rolls. Or maybe the skin is just so insane that people don’t stand a chance. Anyway, Epic wins right there.

For the very opposite are the other half of the player base. The item shop was cursed as “Grosse boutique de merde,” and for those who do not understand French, it means “big garbage shop.” Others joke that Epic is working hard to empty their wallets before the next big collab. That is the world of Fortnite folk-love it or hate it, hallelujah they come back to see what’s up.

And for the new ones, dataminers are deep-diving into the files for bigger clues for the next. Could an F1 skin be all set for the Brad Pitt movie? Could there be a return for Resident Evil without notice? The speculations never stop.

For now, sushi comes first. And very probably, you are going to be buying that skin either for the memes, or bonus points, because you actually like the idea of wasabi-covered victory royale. One thing for sure: Unpredictable remains the Fortnite item shop. Now if they could just get those Dragon Ball skins back…
