The Fortnite tweet does take a little disturbance—or lest we say, “we believe in Morgan Myst supremacy” flashed next to a classy picture of the skin. And the replies? Oh, an utter madness. Some of them are stanning, some are stanners for other skins, and others are just on the lookout for some drama. Fortnite Twitter is such. Every opinion roars out there, but no one agrees on anything.
First off, who is Morgan Myst? For the outside Fortnite lore, it is a newbie superhero-type skin-androgynous, mostly goth-level dark-with an avian motif (hence the crow emoji). She makes her appearance in the now lame Battle Pass for this season and is pretty much the face of the promotion from Epic Games. But a few feel differently.
The replies are a battlefield of loyalties. Some, like @sinsxvii, glorify it loud and proud with “LIVE LAUGH LOVE MORGAN MYST ❤️,” whereas @Jet_Stream222 comes in with some shade: “Nah Haylee clears.” Then we have a third breed that throws his weight behind Lexa supremacy, @mahdy358. And we almost forgot about another one-of-a-kind yet passionate @BUZZ3RX screaming “FULL BLACK OMEGA ALPHA SUPREMACY.” Okay, dude. Consider that noted.
But it’s not just skin wars; others want their newfound demands to be made loud. @Vigil_HD is screaming for Street Fighter skins; @luis67622176 is yelling to get Naruto back into the shop; meanwhile, @DoggoSSB is… waiting. Waiting for what, exactly? No one really knows. That are some crazy vibes, and that’s what keeps Fortnite Twitter entertaining throughout.
And then there are these oddly specific arguments, like @CrimsonRaiderXV bringing out the dictionary to correct somebody over whether the skin in question is “goth” or “alt.” Like, sure, let’s dissect the subculture aesthetics of Fortnite characters at 3 a.m. Why not.
And, of course, no Fortnite comment section would be complete without someone (@DongoBongo19) saying, “everyone in the comments are going absolutely nowhere in life.” Harsh but probably true.
Where do we go from here? Fortnite knows how to stir the pot. Drop a simple tweet, watch the fandom explode into factions, and enjoy the show. Whether you are Team Morgan or Team Lexa, or just here for the memes-There is one thing for sure-people are invested. And because of how skins come and go, this won’t end anytime soon.
It’s now my time to go and see if Morgan Myst’ emote game is screaming just as loud as her Twitter hype. Spoiler: It surely is.
