The LEGO Fortnite universe is about to get SUPER-scale news at some point later this month, said the official Fortnite Twitter account. Now, that big, loud-all-caps “-SUPER-” just carried everyone further onto the speculation that it might be superhero news.
As ghe rest of the tweet gave no such second information, thus the clock talks for rumors of a spinach-season or an event. And with Fortnite having all kinds of whacky crossovers (Marvel and DC, name it), throwing some superhero powers onto the LEGO nurtures really feels good. The response though is in mayhem, some hyping it while some are cynical and confused.
Le sigh, “No one cares abt lego,” a user tweeted, “ANOTHER DOGSHIT SEASON INCOMING!” countering all the negativity were some feverish responses with “Fortnite Lego Supremacy” and “This is hype!!” applauding the blocky child. Then there’s that some begging for Streetfighter collabs instead–because honestly, Fortnite players just never seem to get enough.
The real question is, will this tie Zen with Season 3? Or is it yet another side LEGO Fortnite event? Someone theorized that this is the first major LEGO update since Chapter 1, Season 4-again, it just feels like forever ago. Then others buckle in for more weaponizing rumors, sarcastically welcoming “another season of no ammo!!!!” (guilty, really).
Then, the “super-scale” hint, right? Superheroes? Super-sized buildings? Super Mario crossover? (Alright, maybe not that last one.) Some of the replies are convinced that it’s hinting at an all-female skin lineup while others are sending prayers over for an Infamous or Prototype tie-in. Classic Fortnite chaos.
Apparently, the servers are also giving issues, of course. Someone replied with a clip of laggy gameplay asking what are going on with Fortnite servers?” Same here, pal. Same.
