The Fortnite community went berserk about the latest big news let out by ShiinaBR: an emote for summer and a rare 700-day emote are coming to the item shop. A 700-day emote! That’s nearly two years of waiting for this emote to finally resurface. And of course, the toxic community is already fighting amongst themselves because of it.
Rare emote: Some hadn’t even realized it was rare. Shout-out to GeorgeFarawayEN, who went on a rant saying, “Didn’t know it was rare, I got it day 1. 😝” Now the wave of panic about losing their OG status is setting in. tgraybird went on his own meltdown: “nooooooooo my rare emote noooooo I demand an og style 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭.” Classic Fortnite drama.
And then the new summer emote. It lets you have good vacay vibes. POP said it best: “We sun tanning come on now.” Exactly. Time to hit the beach (or at least pretend to while standing in the middle of Tilted Towers).
But not everybody was feeling warm and fuzzy. LordHotdog195indi complained about the entire shop lining up: “Why are we wasting 3 spots on music tracks bro😐. They’re actually throwing.” Meanwhile, CodeF1am1n90 just decided to drag everyone: “New Ggum emote is so faggy.” (How very mature of him.)
Then next comes the real mystery—what’s going on with Axe of Champions 1.0? Cody (F1elite33) hits the real question: “Is it ever coming to the item shop or is it staying exclusive to the Pro-Am?” Good question. Epic Games will keep those exclusives on lock, so who knows.
Of course, no Fortnite update goes without crazy requests, like OGBlackWidowFan, who took it another step asking for “We want George W Bush.” Uh… sure? And kalocaaaa is begging Miku fans to back… something: “please miku fans do this 🙏💞 🥀.”
But of course, the true heroes are mostly those repping to finally grab these emotes. Rusty Da Hyena (MDrift2137387) said it best: “Finally I’ve been waiting for this one.” Same, dude. Same.

Bottom line? Adding spice to the mix as always by Fortnite. Whether for rare flex or to dance in the heat, there’s a little of both for everyone. Get those emotes before they vanish again for another 700 days. Or don’t. The drama will be entertaining either way.
