Ladies and gentlemen, please pry open the guitar cases and jig your way into splits; Icon Emotes has been dropped, and what an absolute banger it is! THAT is one sexy lineup. From leaks, we gather Fortnite Super (3 emotes), The Flash (1), Adventure Time (6 of those!), Victory Vibes (2), and Battle Ready (5). That’s quite a few ways to celebrate clapping some noobs.

If you are wondering why your locker feels emptier than Gifted default skin’s stash of dances, that would be a very good hint. Especially these days, the Victory Vibe emotes have been very commonly seen in the rotations, making one of the players, Wil (@westward_star28), question this rebranding and the obnoxious overuse of Fortnite Flow. Valid question to be honest; maybe Epic’s been just really having those victory feels lately?

But, moving on to the MAIN ones—the Adventure Time emotes. Six. Different. Ones. More emotes than some whole collaborations. SeanDoggo (@SeanDoggo) has already laid down the prophecy: “Adventure is the one to get.” You can’t argue against that math. Big shout-out to swolemeta_ (@swolemeta_) for that rebellious opinion that Victory Vibes and Adventure Time “go hard.” The biggest understatement of this season right there.

Nice little chancery for the Flash fans (all the three of you) with the new emote, but Kallik_G_TTV (@Kallik_G_TTV) is crying out for Black Adam. Same, bro, same. On the DC front, Alexloft5 (@Alexloft5) is querying about Harley Quinn. Hah, patience, young grasshopper.

Now, this is where it starts getting serious. The players have GONE INTO THE DARKLY CRAZY OVER SOMETHING that IS NOT IN THIS DROP. First off, where the hell is Street Fighter? Beccabelova (@beccabelova) just posted a crying emoji and “Still no street fighter,” after which Vinizera (@Vinizera191) commanded “And Street Fighter? When?” as if ready to throw down. Even NinjaSavages (@NinjaSavages) dropped a bombshell, saying, “heard news about Street Fighter skins being scrapped from the files.” Oof.

The second thing missing: original dances. Majorgaming275 (@majorgaming275-yt) threw a sad face at us, asking, “When are they going to make their own dances and not just icons?” Fair waterbomb, but with collabs this fire, can we really complain?

More random gems appeared in the reply thread: Ogking751 (@Ogking751) all hyped about Head Banger coming back (maybe?), CortexsAussyPal (@CortexsAussyPal) begging for Ash Williams (mood), and JuiceloveWRLD (@JuiceloveWRLD) just screamed, “I NEED NEW WOMEN!!” which… is very much as much energy as my Friday night.

Can’t forget DHAS013 (@DHAS013), though, who left like five comments straight-up gushing over the designs calling them “cute” and saying that they’ve “never seen a designer like this.” Somebody must get this person a job at Epic; their enthusiasm is contagious.

Bottom line? Tonight’s emote drop is stacked, but players clearly want more—whether that’s Street Fighter, original dances, or just… women, apparently. The Fortnite item shop remains the ultimate tease, giving us amazing content while always leaving us wanting that one more thing.

The question, then, is: What is coming? Be sure to drop in at the shop refresh tonight and have your V-Bucks ready. Adventure Time emotes might be the only reason you need to justify the splurge. Just don’t @me when your wallet is hollow, and you’re throwing the Carlton as Finn the Human.
