Mere moments after lifting the Summoner’s Cup at this year’s League of Legends World Championship, DAMWON Gaming shared their potential choices for the champions they intend to select to receive the traditional skins granted to the world champions.

Here are the champions each player said they plan on picking for the 2020 Worlds skins.

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Final Map Of The Curse Of Drachenfels Is Scheduled To Drop Soon

  • Top lane Nuguri – Kennen
  • Jungle Canyon – Graves
  • Mid lane Showmaker – Twisted Fate
  • ADC Ghost: Ashe, Jhin, or Caitlyn
  • Support BeryL: Leona or Pantheon

These champions defined DAMWON’s playstyle during this year’s World Championship. They were crucial in all their victories throughout the entire stage. When the team was sent into a corner, they defaulted to the champions above and then turned it back around.

While there are three confirmed choices with the top lane, jungle, and mid lane, the bottom lane is still up for grabs. Hopefully Ghost and BeryL manage to decide on which champion they want to pick a skin for so that the rabbit will be out of the box sooner rather than later.

These skins are created as a tribute to the World Champion and a part of skin sales go to the players. Last years, players voted for champions with most popularity in order to make more money from skin sales. This year doesn’t have such a problem though since the unpopular champions weren’t picked during the main event or the knockout stage at all.

The 2020 Season World Championship (Worlds 2020) is the conclusion of the 2020 League of Legends esports season. The tournament is held in Shanghai, China. The tournament began with Play-In stages on Sep. 25 and will conclude on Oct. 31 with the finals between two teams which would be arguably the best in the World.

The Main-Event stage began on Oct. 3 and will feature the best 16 teams in the World. 8 out of them will advance to the knockout stage where they’ll have a shot at advancing forward.

The format for qualification in North America and Europe changed this year, with teams only being able to qualify directly through the LCS Summer Playoffs and LEC Summer Playoffs, respectively. Seeding Changes: China and Europe both receive one extra seed for a total of four, while the PCS is given two seeds, compared to a combined four for the LMS and Southeast Asia in 2019.
In summary, one main event seed previously held by the LMS is given to Europe, and the play-in seed previously held by Southeast Asia is given to China.
