No official specifics concerning release dates for updates to HoYoverse’s successful game Genshin Impact have been announced, yet a picture shared online speculates about a probable roadmap for updates in 2023. Recent leaks about forthcoming updates to Genshin Impact have piqued fan interest in the upcoming content.

In 2020, the open-world action role-playing game Genshin Impact was produced and published by the Chinese studio HoYoverse, and it was an instant critical and commercial success. After being separated at birth, the player in Genshin Impact assumes the role of one of two twins who must go to the land of Tevyat, which is divided into seven nations ruled by different gods. Genshin Impact’s core gameplay revolves around exploration and battle, and it can be enjoyed either solo or with up to three friends in a cooperative multiplayer mode.

One r/Genshin Impact user, izzykuroneko, provided an image to the subreddit outlining their projections for the 2023 release schedule for Genshin Impact. According to the suggested schedule, there will be nine new installments of the game, each of which will be previewed via Livestream around two weeks before its official release.

While HoYoverse has yet to announce a plan for 2023 updates to Genshin Impact, izzykuroneko has presented similarly conjectural release calendars in the past, using data from previous years to make his estimations. Following the latest 3.1 updates that brought the desolate Sumeru region to Genshin Impact, players are already looking ahead to 2023, hoping to see even more content updates.

Genshin Impact has been a massive success despite early accusations of stealing ideas from Breath of the Wild. A recent estimate indicates that the mobile version of Genshin Impact has grossed more than $3 billion, proving that the games’ success is not restricted to PC and consoles. Whether or not this release schedule pans out, it’s evident that fans of Genshin Impact can’t get enough of this one-of-a-kind and aesthetically good RPG.
