However, the vibe was not appreciated by the masses. Instead, what’s flooding the replies are demands for updates, amendments, and even apologies from Mediatonic.
The tweet was all-season cute: beans splashing around! But look at those replies! Gamers accused the game of failing to provide an update in 2025, begged for a summer event, and declared it dead. One plainly said “you fell off 💔,” while another had the gall to joke that the game looks like it’s drowning.
Some in the community still move forward with hope, though. They noted that the original tweet could have been a hint toward a summer update, considering leaks almost guarantee beach-themed cosmetics. Now, one comment states: “Wait a second. The leaks included beach stuff, and now they’re posting summer images? Coincidence? I think NOT.” Sadly, that ounce of hope is buried by waves of frustration.
And yet again, poor communication, bugs, and dead communities are being highlighted. “Please add a quick search option to the inventory; finding items is so painful,” pleaded one instigator. Someone else demanded the return of the Forgotten Knight skin because of its strange exclusion from the last event. Even the lighthearted ones are dripping with sarcasm: “Awww look at the lil beans having fun!” While another laments, “the game is boring, we need a summer event.” Hanna testifies the bittersweet contrast.
Fate awaits Fall Guys: there is no retort from the development team to this backlash yet. But judging by the replies, this crowd will surely not shut down about serious updates. Maybe the summer event goes down solidly. Would it be by then too late? Either way, the community spoke in no uncertain terms: they want more than just cute little beans swimming around.
And at least one user gave out a simple request: “Add swimming to the game.” Eh, now that would just be the easiest win Mediatonic could get. Just saying.
