First, on the content: From the sound of some of Grok’s replies, who appears to be a veritable encyclopedia regarding Fall Guys, these skins are likely in celebration of Pride Month for the year 2025. Kaleidoscopic Rex and Rainbow Mermaid will be free gifts in the Fall Guys Store until June 30, 2025; all the players must do is check out the Featured section in the shop tab. But here’s the kicker: some of the players do say they can’t find them, which might as well be some glitch at play. A classic Fall Guys moment right there.
Let’s spill the real tea: the comments section quickly degenerated into a yawning roast. Players such as The_FlumeAT wanted to “hold nothing back”: “Games boring, game needs actual new content, new decorations and 1 old obstacle in creative don’t count. Ouchest.” Others like lostloser1055 were less forgiving: “I guess you have to turn to AI after abandoning your creators and your community all while blatantly ignoring us asking you to fix your game.”
The frustration comes from a lack of more meaningful updates, especially in Creative mode. CoolT35 pointed out that the game hasn’t had new obstacles since trapeze, and LikoFallGuys was begging the devs to “add some more legacy obstacles in creative, old decorations and more.” It’s clear players feel neglected as the majority insinuate the game being boring. TTVZendex_YT stated, “You killed a great and fun game.”
On the other hand, players like ItsBigSleetus proffered it’s best to completely get away from the game if not having fun. But, according to ReviewGuysFG, the creators “are currently holding this game together” and more support should be given to them. Even colder was the take from ThreesFG, stating, “the only metric that matters is how many Showbucks are sold.” That has got to be the coldest take.
Amidst all these negative comments, some comments remained hopeful. PainfulGuy10 wondered if the above tweet was one big teaser for something new and suggested adding those rounds to Duos and Squads. But in terms of expiration, the vibes from the community showed a dark hue. Even KostiaMarienko kept it very short with: “I think y’all need to open the fuck up.”
So, what is the deal in Fall Guys nowadays? So, while the festival skins might be well intentioned, the general vibe amongst players throughout the community is more focused on actual content, fixes, and communication. The game’s community is clearly passionate, but the momentum is turning into anger. Is it going to be heard by the devs? Time will tell. At least for now, we do have the free Pride Month outfits to dress up our beans while we wait.
