Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls: Online has been seeing a bit of a surge of players through the holiday season, and it’s continuing well on into the new year. Some gamers feel that the return of World of Warcraft: Classic is helping to revitalize interest in MMORPGs, but ESO has been here for years now, and it’s always been here to stay.

Part of the steady popularity that ESO enjoys is thanks to the myriad of events that they have throughout the year. The game itself is free-to-play, but microtransactions are aplenty once you actually start it up. Thankfully, these events make a habit of giving free stuff to players, and the Undaunted event that’s live now gives away some of the best goodies.

To participate in the Undaunted Celebration event, players will need to find a four-player group to delve into dungeons and earn rewards. You can use the Dungeon Finder tool to accomplish this if you’d like, but you can bring your own group as well. The Undaunted Celebration is active both for Normal and Veteran dungeon difficulties.

Once you successfully defeat the dungeon’s final boss, they’ll drop an Undaunted Reward Box (along with their normal loot, thankfully). Within these reward boxes, you’ll find a massive variety of useful and valuable items, including Undaunted Keys and plunder, motif pages, repair kits, transmute crystals, and riding lessons, just to name a few options.

You’ll also have the opportunity to earn special Opal versions of the classic Monster Weapon, Mask, and Shoulder styles for Bloodspawn, Illambris, Engine Guardian, and Troll King. These are earned from special Hefty Undaunted Reward Boxes, which contain the same items as normal Undaunted Reward Boxes with the addition of a random Opal Monster Weapon Outfit style pages. These pages can drop from the normal boxes as well, but at a significantly lower drop rate.

Masks are earned as drops from Veteran Hard Mode final bosses, specifically the ones mentioned above. Opal shoulders will be available from Undaunted vendors, but you must own the normal versions (which the same vendors sell) before you can unlock the Opal variant.

There are also a few Impresario goods that you can snag from the vendors as well, including the previously mentioned Opal Monster Outfit Styles and all four types of Indrik Feathers. The Undaunted Celebration event is a great excuse to gear up and run a handful of dungeons with your friends, so make sure you take advantage of the event before it ends on Monday, January 13th!
