The tweet is dripping with all sorts of hot-drama symbols-it reads like a classic villain’s monologue before the finals clash with the boss; this time, though, it’s real and the stakes seemingly high.
Fresh out of qualifications for the FNCS Pro-Am, Coldfv was not about to take the time to celebrate for himself before putting big stone after big stone of insults, all of them directed right at Clix, one of the biggest names in Fortnite. “Careful @Clix… I’m right behind you 😈😈😈”, together with a smooth screenshot from the game exuding confidence, really brought down the house. The dope caption even shaded LacyHimself, saying, “Getting compared to Bugha”. That’s gotta hurt, like, a lot.
But what’s the big deal, anyway? Well, the ICON Cup happens to be one prize-less tournament, but whatever-the amount of smack talking that goes on about these ones is serious business in the world of Fortnite competition. Alhtough Clix now finds himself on the receiving end of some big-time comments for those clutch plays in his signature ambitious style-Yup, past tense. and Coldfv’s not-so-gently making it clear he wants the bounty.
Calldfv surely didn’t forget the old-school burning tactics. Meaning it must have been a good 10+ years of nothing-but-hard-work-and-grinding for here. Back up is the qualification for FNCS Pro-Am. This is what keeps up the Fortnite ecosystem alive. The likes of Bugha and Mongraal used to have great fights, and maybe this will become the next one.
