Animal Crossing: New Horizons was launched in March. Instead of releasing all of the content at once, Nintendo has slowly rolled out updates throughout the year. This has made players who time travel slow down until new content is uploaded.

A new video has been released, showcasing many of the famous residents and guests of the game with a fresh coat of snow on the trees and buildings. Those sitting around the round table in front of the Residential Services building include Tom Nook, Isabelle, Crazy Redd the Fox, Celeste, K.K. Slider, Gulliver, Leif, and Pascal. The characters share warm drinks, cake, and reflect back on the past year.

The video is only around 30-seconds long but wraps up the past ten months since the game’s been out. Leif reflects on setting up shop and helping villagers gain easy access to seasonal bushes and flowers. Meanwhile, Pascal reflects back n the addition of deep-sea diving, although he’s only interested in collecting scallops.

Crazy Redd the Fox, the shady seller, also reflects back on discovering the island. Players of the game know that the sly fox sells a mixture of real and fake artwork. It’s up to islanders to do their art history work and only purchase the real items. Once the artwork has been assessed by Blathers, he will place it in the museum for everyone can enjoy.

Celeste, the star-living owl, and Blathers’ sister, talks about looking up at shooting stars and the upcoming Toy Day festivities. Meteor showers take place periodically throughout the year. At night, players can look up and wish on a star to find star fragments. These fragments are then used for crafting recipes.

The video also gives players the first look at the Toy day furniture and clothing. Two island representatives are sitting together in a house. They’re wearing Santa hats and dresses. In the background are a lighted-up reindeer, large and small Christmas tree, snowglobe, holiday wrath, present box, yule log, and more.

Toy Day brings back Jingle the Reindeer. Nintendo previously announced that players would begin purchasing toys at the beginning of December to deliver to island residents on the event day.

The video closes with a sneak peek at the New Year’s Eve party. The player and villagers join together to count down to the new year with a big clock in the event square.

The new video is now included with the collection on the Animal Crossing: New Horizons website.
