Blizzard has just entered the second week of Mythic+ content in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, with a massive amount of loot now on the table from endlessly-repeatable dungeons. With no cap to how much loot one can get from mythic, players are able to gear to their heart’s content.

This week brings the Sign of the Warrior event, which causes the final boss of each Shadowlands dungeon to drop an extra item. This works on all difficulties, so long as the dungeon being run is for Shadowlands, so you can gear up your fresh 60s, your heroics, and your raid-ready Mythic+ toons!

If you’re able to run Mythics, make sure you run to Oribos and go to the Great Vault. This is the same location players can collect loot from their weekly chest for completing Castle Nathria bosses, collecting PvP honor, and running up to ten Mythic+ dungeons.

Here, you’ll be able to grab your weekly quest for this dungeon event. The quest will task you with running four Mythic dungeons over the course of the week, which is a rather low amount for any player that intends to be gearing.

The dungeons do have to be Mythic, but they don’t have to be Mythic+. You can’t complete this requirement running normals or heroics, but if you’re geared up decently you can knock it out swiftly by running some keyless Mythic dungeons.

As payment for doing this, you’re given a chest that provides a drop from the lower tier of Heroic Castle Nathria. This item will be 213 in item level, the same level that drops off of most of the bosses.

This is a bit lower than the last two boss encounters, Stone Generals and Sire Denathrius. Both of these bosses drop 220 item level gear, so the Heroic Nathria drop is capped off at the lower tiers, likely to stop a power creep.

The item isn’t just 213 in item level but is a direct boss drop, so if you want to know what sort of gear you’re going to get, make sure you read through the dungeon journal of those 8 bosses to see what’s on their loot table.

You also may want to double-check your loot preference for the proper specialization. It’s unknown if the chest offers loot based off of your current spec in the same way the weekly Great Vault does, but why risk it and accidentally get the wrong kind of gear?

This free 213 provides a wonderful boost and could end up giving you a fantastic item to round out your gearing and boost your item level considerably. Regardless of where you are on your gearing journey, if you can grab the four Mythic dungeons, it’d be a waste not to.
