The third week of LCS began an intensive match-up between Evil Geniuses and Counter Logic Gaming, with CLG copying the top Soraka pick from Europe’s G2.

While in Europe the standings are mostly clarified, in NA it’s unclear who is the best and who is the worst.

Evil Geniuses vs Counter Logic Gaming

Sett / Elise / Orianna / Xayah / Rakan vs Soraka / Jarvan / Syndra / Aphelios / Nautilus

Counter Logic Gaming watched LEC over in Europe and decided to try out the top Soraka pick, which was very successful for G2 Esports. Regardless of pick, CLG played much better than Evil Geniuses and deserved to pick up the win. The only hope of EG was Bang on Xayah, but he was unable to deal with so many threats from CLG.

As a result, CLG took all objectives and pushed to win the Baron buff without any issues.

100 Thieves vs Team Liquid

Aatrox / Gragas / Orianna / Aphelios / Thresh vs Gangplank / Lee sin / Syndra / Senna / Tahm

Team Liquid are having issues after their main jungler, Broxah could not arrive from Europe yet. Considering his visa has been recently approved, he will most likely be in NA for 4th week. It is going to be hard for them to come back from this deficit.

100 Thieves looked great this game, the duo of Ssumday alongside Meteos pressured Impact and kept him under farmed and under-leveled for the most part of the game. With no pressure from top lane, 100 Thieves steam-rolled over the game, Team Liquid was able to only get 1 tower and 1 Baron Nashor, while 100 Thieves got 11 towers, 2 heralds, 6 dragons and 1 baron nashor.

If 100 Thieves keep it up, they can reach the top of the standings in no time.

Team Solo Mid vs Dignitas

Irelia / Sett / Syndra / Miss Fortune / Leona vs Kennen / Elise / Vel’koz / Aphelios / Braum

Dignitas is having odd games, in some games, they dominate the enemies and finish the games fast, in other games they get dominated. It comes unexpectedly from TSM who has been having issues after the early game for the past weeks and last split.

Dardoch with his Sett pick dominated the game without any pressure, secured objectives and made sure his team could win without pressure.

Cloud 9 vs Flyquest

Rumble / Gragas / Qiyana / Aphelios / Nautilus vs Aatrox / Jarvan / Diana / Senna / Tahm

Zven is continuing his spree of being deathless on the new Cloud9 squad. He seems much better compared to the last season and is a decisive factor in Cloud 9 wins. While TL still can’t find themselves, Cloud 9 seems to be at their top and will most likely finish 1st in standings, unless Team Liquid can turn it around.

Flyquest heavily improved compared to last year, but it was not a challenge for the new Cloud 9.
