MiHoYo will send a massive inflatable rendition of Genshin Impact‘s Paimon down the River Thames exactly one week since Queen Elizabeth II was put to sleep.

According to what was written by MiHoYo in the announcement released today, a massive inflatable Paimon is about to set sail on a global drifting adventure beginning on the River Thames. So, travelers, join Paimon as he embarks on what will likely be an eternal adventure, and let’s get going.

The enormous inflatable Paimon is not just some strangely timed advertising stunt, as some have speculated. It will be a part of a larger event that will be dubbed Giant Paimon’s Global Endless Journey, and it will begin on October 2 at nine in the morning near London Bridge.

When that time comes, the inflatable Paimon will be set forth on her adventure. A course that has been documented on the official Genshin Impact website. Twitter has provided estimated arrival timings for Paimon at several locations across the world, each of which will be an ideal vantage point from which to view the large Paimon float. If you talk to the cosplayers at each location, you might even be able to acquire a limited-edition postcard from one of your images.

At four in the afternoon, fans can come to Butler’s Wharf for an intimate private fans meet-up. During this meet-up, players will have the opportunity to have an up-close look at another huge Paimon that will be standing in front of Tower Bridge.

In addition to the merchandise that will be available for purchase, there will also be cupcakes and refreshments. The MiHoYo is doing all in its power to get as many people as can to attend the event dressed as Genshin Impact characters.

The next leg of Paimon’s tour will take place on October 3 and 4 in Canary Wharf. The enormous inflatable will be on display at the northern pier of the West India Dock, located next to the Burger and Lobsters and West India Dock DLR station.
