Blizzard continues to add a massive plethora of content to World of Warcraft: Classic! We’ve already spoken on the arrival of the Darkmoon Faire, the opening of Blackwing Lair, and the addition of the Love is in the Air festival, but Blizzard is still adding in more content.
To be fair, it may not be accurate to call it “new” content, since it’s really just putting old content back into the Classic version of WoW. Either way, it’s content that wasn’t in the game previous to the patch, so it counts as new to us!
One of the results of this patch is the addition of multiple new reputation awards. The Argent Dawn, Thorium Brotherhood, Timbermaw Hold, Silverwing Sentinels, and Warsong Outriders all have been given new awards! The Argent Dawn, Thorium Brotherhood, and Timbermaw Hold have new recipes for professions, including enchanting formulas, tailoring and leatherworking patterns, and blacksmithing plans. As PvP factions, the Silverwing Sentinels and Warsong Outriders have been given new armor, weapons, and trinkets to improve your lethal potential on the battlefield.
The real kicker, though, is the class quests that Blizzard has added into the game. Each class has their own class quest that will coalesce into a deep dive into the Temple of Atal’Hakkar, A.K.A. the Sunken Temple, in the Swamp of Sorrows. Depending on which class you’re playing as the rewards (and quest) will be separate. Each class begins their journey with their class trainer, and will then be sent out on their missions thusly:
- Druids meet with Towa Pathfinder within Un’Goro Crater.
- Hunters will journey to Azshara to meet with Ogtinc.
- Mages begin their quest with a journey to Azshara as well, meeting Sanath Lim-yo.
- Paladins will journey to the Plaguelands to convene in Chillwind Camp.
- Priests also journey to Azshara to meet with Ogtinc, same as hunters.
- Rogues meet with Lord Jorach Ravenholdt within Alterac Valley.
- Shaman will work to gather samples of all four elements before traveling to Chillwind Point
- Warlocks meet with Impsy within the tainted forests of Felwood
- Warriors, finally, will journey to the Swamp of Sorrows to meet with a fallen Hero of the Horde.
Each of these quests becomes available at level 50 or higher, and are suitably difficult and lengthy. In return, though, players are rewarded with one of three rare-quality gear upgrades that are hard to miss out on.Whether your journey is to reach exalted with as many reputations as possible or complete your class quest ASAP, Blizzard is ready for you to get out there and grind!
