The community has been in a state of frenzy ever since the official Forza Horizon twitter account posed an innocent yet very meaningful question: “Where is your Horizon happy place?” Answers were thrown in with wild abandon, some of them nostalgic memories; others were hopeful requests and outright demands for the next installment. And the community really did come correct.
Let me just say this before everybody else: Forza Horizon 6 is already THE hype machine, with FH5 still being fresh in the minds of lots of players. Chazy Chaz went one step further by recommending: “FH6 should, like, very well be in Japan…” and I gotta say that is a whole vibe. Those curvy mountain roads with neon bright cities and cherry blossom-sprinkled countryside are a racing game’s dream. Rohan JXR joked that his happy place was in the new map of Forza Horizon VI. Like, same, dude. Same.
The old ones, I am sure, still warm some pockets for some of the not-yet-ready-to-move-on folks. Many have an attachment to them, and TheFutxre pulled all the heartstrings screaming, “FH3 I miss it so much ðŸ˜.” HonkyBonky, on the flip side, made history in calling Horizon 1 and 2 “unrivaled,” while FH3, 4, and 5 “ain’t even remotely close.” So that one kinda punches. In opposition to his, benmetalhead is late to the party, having just recently started playing FH5. He then went ahead and declared it “one of the most beautiful video games I’ve ever played.” Better late than never, right?
Those are, of course, some favorite in-game locations. LukeEga34522449 digs Volcano drift zone (because who doesn’t want to drift sideways down a mountain?), whereas DOTCV Asmodeus prefers chilling atop a mountain pass just soaking up the view. Jacob Valencia threw in a shoutout to Event Lab Island, and itsbownetbow is all in for Team Byron Bay-Aussie FH3 fans know the deal.
Rare cars definitely bring a whole lot of humor to talks about Forza. Maz_S_W_T is having the hardest time trying to get a Porsche RS 2023 which they said “is impossible to get.” We all have felt your pain, buddy. The Auction house grind is really something.
Then there are the random fun ones: taoobi10 wants to “remove the audience.” Uh… sure? Whatever tickles your fancy, man.
The takeaway? Forza Horizon players are passionate, nostalgic, and already thinking about the next. Whether they’re talking about drifts on volcanoes, reminiscing about FH3 glory days, or begging for FH6 to be set in Japan, one thing’s for sure: this community knows exactly what they want. And if Playground Games are listening (and I’m sure they are), then they’d have plenty of feedback from the fans.
So, where is YOUR Horizon happy place? Drift zone? Old map? Or are you already mentally booking a ticket to the yet unannounced venue of FH6? Either way, the love for this series is unbelievably loud-and surely, the hype for what’s next has been born.
