Rogue Games and Playfellow Studio have announced the release window of Fisti-Fluffs. The game was initially announced to launch on Steam and also have a Nintendo Switch port soon after.
Fisti-Fluffs is a game all about bored cats at home with their humans away. They decide to take this moment to fight and create as much mayhem as possible. Some of their fights take place inside or out in the backyard. Although up to four cats can enter the battle, only one will be victorious.
The game is a humorous physics-based party game where players can choose a unique cat to use in battle. The cats are very limber, so the battles take place very quickly. There are five different game modes, including Tussle, Crown Control, Destruction, Party, and Kibble Defence.
In Kibble Defense, players work together to defend their terrorize. Other animals like rats and other critters will appear and try to steal the cats’ precious kibble. The battles take place in various waves until only one team remains victorious.
Fisti-Fluffs features six fully destructible and exciting stages filled with colorful furniture and more. The seventh level is only available in the special Kibble Defense game mode. This special stage is the biggest and most comprehensive house stage.
The adorable cats are also quite powerful. They can use their tiny paws to either scratch their opponents or throw items at their opponents. Only one cat can win, so players will have to fight back in any way possible.
The cats featured in the game were based on real-life cats. Players can further customize them with different styles, hats, and outfits. Once players have finished customizing their cats, they can take screenshots with the built-in camera mode.
Although the game will see a Nintendo Switch release in early 2021, it’s unknown which additional features will be implemented, if any. The official store page is now available but only lists the same game description as the Steam game.
A free demo is available now on Steam for those who want to try out the cat brawler now. Players will get to test out the mechanics and decide if they want to purchase the full game.
Fisti-Fluffs launched on PC via Steam in January 2021. The Nintendo Switch release is scheduled for early 2021.
