According to the results of the first 48 hours after the transition to the F2P model, the audience of the hit exceeded 20 million people, and this train of hype cannot be stopped.

In a new post, Mediatonic is delighted to announce that over 50 million people have played its game in the two weeks since it transitioned to shareware and new platforms. The creators thanked the gamers and called the result incredible.

The re-launch of Fall Guys free-to-play and multi-platform last week caused server issues that prevented players from finding matches. A similar problem occurred when the game first launched for PlayStation 4 and Steam in 2020.

Fall Guys was added to the Epic ecosystem last year when Epic Games acquired Mediatonic. As a result, players need to sign in with an Epic Games account to play the game.

Fall Guys has also been removed from the Steam store and is now only available on the Epic Games Store.

Formerly known as Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, the game features 60 players controlling sticky creatures and battling each other in randomly selected mini-games as they try to survive. Some players are eliminated after each round, and the last one standing is the winner.

According to review aggregator Metacritic, the Fall Guys received “generally favorable” reviews when it was first released on PC and PS4, with praise for the gameplay. It was a commercial success, gaining more than 1.5 million active players within 24 hours of its release.
