Blizzard is working up to one of the biggest releases in World of Warcraft: Classic yet, providing the final PvE challenge for players that have been challenging the hardest content the game has to offer.

Naxxramas, necropolis stronghold of the Scourge and home of Kel’thuzad, will soon open for World of Warcraft: Classic players to challenge. Players have been preparing plenty, and the next level of preparation is now open.

Blizzard has now made it possible for players to earn attunement to enter Naxxramas and complete the raid. In doing so, the developers have made it so that raid teams can be ready to challenge the content the day it drops.

“We have updated WoW Classic to make the NPC Archmage Angela Dosantos available at Light’s Hope Chapel,” Blizzard states in their announcement. “Now, if you wish to complete your attunement to Naxxramas in advance of the raid going live on December 3, you can visit the Archmage and take care of it.”

Attunement isn’t going to come freely, though. Players will need to be at least Honored in reputation with the Argent Dawn if they want to earn their attunement into Naxxramas.

The better your reputation with the Argent Dawn, though, the easier it’ll be for you to complete the quest – or at least, the smaller the toll that the Argent Dawn will exact on you.

At Honored, players will be able to complete the Dread Citadel quest to earn attunement, but will need to turn in some materials to do so. Archmage Angela Dosantos will require 60 gold, 5 arcane crystals, 2 nexus crystals, and 1 righteous orb.

If you manage to raise your reputation up to Revered before taking the quest, players have the materials needed lessened. You’ll only have to turn in 30 gold, 2 arcane crystals, and 1 nexus crystal, without needing a righteous orb at all.

Finally, if you manage to cap the reputation off at Exalted, you won’t be taxed at all. Reaching the highest reputation level makes it so that you can earn attunement without paying anything – no gold, no materials, just a quick quest turn in.

Attunement is needed to challenge the Dread Citadel of Naxxramas, so make sure that you’re completing it before the content drops on December 3rd! You have some time, so if you’re strapped for cash, you can start farming up reputation so your cost for the quest being finished is a bit less hefty.
